Lubbock woman celebrates her 100th birthday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD ) - A Lubbock woman celebrated her 100th birthday this week. Etta Simpson was born on October 5, 1910.

Her friends and family threw her a centennial celebration Tuesday. All though she needs a little help getting around, Etta is still in very good health and active in her Church.
