Kitchen fire fills Lubbock house with smoke

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A kitchen fire filled a Lubbock house with smoke Sunday afternoon.  EMS was also called out to the fire in the 5200 block of 96th street at 12:41 PM for a report of a man who had suffered smoke inhalation.  According to the fire department, his injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.  Fire damage was confined to the kitchen but the entire house will filled with smoke when firefighters first arrived.
