Earthquake hits Scurry County again - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

SNYDER, TX (KCBD) - An earthquake rattled the Snyder area over the weekend. The U.S. Geological Survey reports a 3.0 earthquake struck around 2:45 a.m. Saturday with an epicenter about 15-miles north of Snyder.  We have no reports of any damage or injuries.

It's the third earthquake to shake Scurry County this year. Back in July, a quake measuring 3.4 jolted the area, and another quake hit in January measuring 2.9 on the Richter Scale.
