LFD responds to fire at old Showplace 6

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Fire crews were called to the old Showplace 6 theater Monday evening due to reports of smoke coming from the building.  They arrived on scene at 67th Street and University Avenue around 7:45 p.m.

Dispatch says crews quickly doused a small fire, and that the building is being demolished. No word on what sparked the fire.
