Time is running out to protest your property tax appraisal. Long lines filled the waiting room at the Lubbock Central Appraisal office today.
The Director of Appraisals Patrick Brown says the wait is at least an hour. He says at this point your only option is to either file a written protest or protest in person.
You have through the end of Monday to file a protest. So far 2-thousand-727 people have filed protests since the Appraisal District increased the value of Lubbock homes by an average of 7%.
