Mild weather continues

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A cold front has passed through the South Plains this morning. High clouds are expected throughout the day. Along with the cloud cover, we can expect cooler temperatures. Tuesday's high was 82 degrees. We can expect highs in the lower to middle 70s this afternoon with a mixture of clouds and sunshine. A few sprinkles or light showers cannot be ruled out this afternoon, but most areas remain dry. Northeast winds are expected at 10 to 15 MPH.

Clear skies are expected tonight with cold overnight lows in the lower 40s for the Lubbock area. 30s cannot be ruled out northwest of Lubbock towards Muleshoe, Littlefield, Springlake, Earth and Olton. Light winds are expected overnight.
