Drink, Drive Go To Jail-TXDOT Sends Strong Message

The Texas Department of Transportation delivered a strong warning to motorists planning to drink this upcoming Fourth of July Holiday: 'Drink, Drive, go to Jail!'

Texas leads the nation in alcohol related fatalities. That's why State Troopers and officers statewide will step up enforcement of DWI Laws in the upcoming weeks.

Penalties for a first offense include $2,000 in fines, up to 6-months in jail, and a drivers license suspension for up to a year.
