City wide collection for LAA coat drive Saturday morning

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Apartment Association launches their 4th Annual Coat Drive Saturday, October 16th.

If you have clean, slightly used coats that you are wanting to donate, the city wide collection begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. The collection site is located in the Sutherland's parking lot at 3701 50th Street in Lubbock.

The Lubbock Apartment Association is focusing on children's items.

Then, on October 30th from 8am until 4 p.m., the city wide distribution of the items takes place at the First Baptist Church in the gymnasium at 2201 Broadway. Need is the only qualification to pick up coats.
