Fire engulfs home northeast of Ransom Canyon

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -  KCBD NewsChannel 11 is on the scene of a trailer home fire that is fully engulfed. Both Roosevelt and Idalou Volunteer Fire Departments were called to the scene just before 4 p.m. Friday afternoon.

The fire started at 6617 East County Road 6650, northeast of Ransom Canyon. A man was about to move into the trailer home and had the utilities on, but not yet residing there.

Initial reports also state that the home is completely involved and that the fire is spreading. KCBD NewsChannel 11 is on the scene and will bring you the latest as it becomes available.
