Fans encouraged to trade in red and black for pink

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Fans packed Jones AT&T Stadium in pink Saturday to show their support for breast cancer awareness, meaning they wore pink shirts. Some were wearing pink to support this good cause while others were wearing it to honor family members that have survived.

Tech fan Amanda Butcher says, "It's important to me because I could end up with it or you know, a friend of mine or something like that."

Tech fan Scotty Bowyer says, "My mother is a breast cancer survivor and I'm all about doing whatever I can to help find a cure.  I like pink.  I've got three of four pink shirts."
