1000+ pumpkins donated for jack-o-lantern trail

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbockites have donated more than a 1,000 pumpkins to the city's 2nd Annual Pumpkin Trail.  The Pumpkin Trail is free and open from Thursday October 21st through Sunday the 24th inside Lubbock Clapp Park, 46th & Avenue U.  Pumpkin lighting begins each evening at 5:00 p.m.

It's open until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday.  It's open until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.  The city is still accepting carved pumpkins and you can call Aimee Ruel at Maxey Community Center, 767-3796, to donate.
