LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - New research suggests eating soy may lower the risk of recurrence in some breast cancer patients.
The study in the Canadian Medical Association Journal found the chance of cancer coming back in these patients was almost 13 percent lower for those with the highest soy consumption than those who consumed the least amount of soy.
However, researchers say larger clinical trials are needed before they can actually recommend soy to fight breast cancer
