Lubbock Citibus appears to be in for more cuts. But there is still something you can do about it.
The public transit advisory board is considering changes to help Citibus deal with budget cuts and a drop in ridership. Two proposed ways to deal with the problem include ending Saturday service and eliminating two routes.
There will be two public hearings on Wednesday, the first is at noon, the second at 5:30 p.m. The hearings are at Citibus's downtown transfer plaza at 801 Broadway.
If passed, these changes would likely go into effect by September.
