LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – If you have a child who's reaching adolescence, and you've been wondering how you're going to approach him or her about sensitive issues that come with puberty, then this is the perfect event to attend. Teen straight talk is a program launched by the Texas Tech Health Science Center, but supported by more than 60 businesses and organizations in Lubbock.
Dr. Linda Brice announced that they will do a section on how to deal with teen pressures, peer pressures, bullying, sexting, depression, and suicide.
Teen Straight Talk is this Saturday from Noon to 4:30 at the Texas Tech Health Science Center in the Academic Classroom building. It's all free, including pizza, free books for the kids to take home, and free childcare.
