LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Police are looking for the person who caused a serious motorcycle accident over the weekend, then fled the scene.
Investigators say the driver was headed north in the southbound lanes of the interstate when 20-year-old Matthew Wilson crashed his motorcycle into another vehicle that had pulled over to avoid the wrong-way driver.
The crash happened around 11 p.m. Sunday near 21st and the Interstate. Wilson went to the hospital with serious injuries, but has since been released.
Police are now looking for a white female. She was driving a small, 4-door passenger car. Police say the car didn't have any damage, because it wasn't actually involved in the accident, but the driver could still face charges.
If you have any information that could help identify the driver, you are urged to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000.
