Couple creates app to motivate healthy eating habits

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Remember that nationwide competition sponsored by the First Lady's "Let's Move" initiative? Well, a California couple won that contest, and 10 thousand dollars, by creating an app called "Food Busters." It also won the People's Choice Award, beating out 95 other entries.

Modeled after a game show, Food Busters motivates kids to make healthy food options because the object of the game is to choose 6 items for breakfast without going over a certain amount of calories.
