South Plains Food Bank honors Hunger Heroes at luncheon

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – The South Plains Food Bank will honor volunteers at the annual Mayor's Hunger Hero Awards Luncheon.

The luncheon will take place Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at South Plains Church of Christ. The stone soup luncheon will be followed by a key note address by Randy Schackmann. Awards will be presented in three categories: Groups and Organizations, Front Desk Volunteers, and Individuals. For more information call 806-763-3003.
