Lubbock Streets Handle Storm Runoff

The storm rolled into Lubbock County about 5am Thursday morning and left the area just as area residents headed off to work.

Many intersections throughout the city experienced some flooding, at least temporarily. While the city drainage project is not yet operational, the lakes were able to sustain Thursday's runoff.
