By James Clark | email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An escapee from the Sunrise Canyon mental health facility has been captured.  Sheriff Kelly Rowe says in a written statement that William Jackson, 24, was found Saturday by Lubbock police as they were called to a residential burglary.

Rowe says Jackson was transferred from the Lubbock County jail to Sunrise Canyon back on September 3rd by a court order.  From there he escaped on Monday.

His original charge was burglary and now Rowe says that new burglary charges and escape will be added to his list of legal troubles.
