LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Texas Tech Red Raider football team finds themselves in a somewhat unfamiliar place sitting at a four and four record overall and two and four record in conference play. This lands them in the bottom of the Big XII South and 10th overall in the Big XII.
Saturday's loss at Texas A&M marks the first time the Red Raiders have lost back to back games against the Aggies since 1992-93. With four games left to play in the season, the Red Raiders are not yet bowl eligible and need to win two more games to become bowl eligible.
To get to 500 in conference will not be an easy task, as the Red Raiders will host #12 Missouri next Saturday, then travel to Norman and face #8 Oklahoma. Still a lot of work to be done for Texas Tech football.
