Police search for suspect in deadly stabbing

HOBBS, NM (KCBD) -

HOBBS, NM (KCBD) - Hobbs Police continue to search for a suspect in a deadly stabbing over the weekend.  Authorities were called to an apartment in Hobbs just before midnight on Sunday.

When they arrived, officers found Donnie Burrows, 23 of Hobbs with several stab wounds.  Police learned that Burrows left the apartment for a short time and returned with the stab wounds. 

Burrows was airlifted to a Lubbock hospital where he died during surgery.
