Child hit by vehicle near school

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - EMS took a child to the hospital Wednesday, after he was hit by a vehicle around 3:15 p.m.  

The accident happened near Ramirez Charter School at Avenue T and Glenna Goodacre Blvd.  Police say the child appeared to have minor injuries, but they still went to the hospital for evaluation.
