The good news on Monday night was short-lived. Coach Jimmy Curtis is again waiting for a donor liver to save his life.
On Monday night, we told you the Frenship Assistant Baseball Coach had been rushed to surgery since a donor liver had been found. Details are sketchy, but it turns out the liver that was intended for him was later discovered damaged.
So, surgeons at Baylor Hospital in Dallas were forced to turn it down and return Coach Curtis to the top of the transplant list in need of a healthy liver. Meanwhile, staff members at Frenship tell us that Jimmy's liver has completely shut down now, and the time he has left to find a healthy liver is now critical.
