LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Texas Tech Red Raiders square off against the Missouri Tigers Saturday, November 6th at 7 p.m. in the Jones AT&T Stadium.
The game will be televised on ABC. This game is also homecoming for Texas Tech Alumni. Homecoming events on Friday morning start at 11 a.m. Campus Crusade for Christ will sponsor the Tamale Fest until 1 p.m. in Urbanovsky Park.
Then, the Texas Tech Alumni Association will sponsor the Top Techsan Luncheon at noon in the Merket Alumni Center. The Homecoming Court and Spirit Board winners will be announced at the Rowdy Raider Rally at noon in the North Plaza outside the Student Union.
The Friday evening events start with the annual Homecoming dinner and reception, A Night to Remember, at 6 p.m. in the Merket Alumni Center. The 2010 Homecoming Step Show - West Texas Showdown will be held at 7 p.m. in the Student Union Allen Theater. Students are invited to show their Texas Tech spirit at the Pep Rally & Bonfire at 9 p.m. at the Rugby Fields.
The Homecoming events on game day start with the Texas Tech Alumni Association sponsoring the Red Raider Road Race at 8 a.m. beginning at the Recreational Center. The Homecoming Parade then starts at 10 a.m. at Broadway and Avenue V and end at the intersection of 18th Street and Indiana Avenue on campus. RaiderGate will feature country singer Mark McKinney. Gates open at 3 p.m. Texas Tech will face Missouri at Jones AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., and the king and queen will be crowned at halftime.
Also on game day, the Red Raiders will wear uniforms to honor U.S. Armed Forces in conjunction with the Wounded Warrior Project.
Texas Tech is the official Under Armour Freedom game, the Red Raider's last names on their jerseys will be replaced with "freedom." This is a tribute the brave men and women that the initiative supports.
The custom game day jerseys will be auctioned off on www.ttu.edu the following Monday of each game with a 100% of the proceeds going to Wounded Warrior Project. Under Armour school-specific fan gear will be on sale at university bookstores and http://techtraditions.net/ with a portion of the proceeds going to Wounded Warrior Project as well.

The Red Raiders will then go up against the University of Oklahoma on Saturday November 13th in Norman Oklahoma. The kickoff time is to be announced.
