Mass for local man hit by vehicle

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - St. Joseph's Catholic Church will hold Mass for Albert "Veto" Gonzales, 54, of Lubbock, today November 5, at 2 p.m. Gonzales crossed Avenue Q and was hit by a vehicle and died on October 29, 2010.

Gonzales was born April 20, 1956 in Live Oak, Texas, to the late Martin and Macaria Gonzales. He is survived by six brothers, Joe , Jesse, Emilio, Martin, Demetrio and Frank, all of Lubbock; four sisters, Enedelia Lopez, Teresa Gonzales, Otilia Gonzales and San Juanita Gonzales, all of Lubbock; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
