A parking control clerk was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after her vehicle was hit by a car on Broadway and Avenue Q.

The driver of the car, 23-year-old Nick Yeager says he just didn't see her. "I was coming down this way and I went to turn into the street and all I heard was honk, honk and I looked up and there was a parking control vehicle and I hit right into the side of it."

The small vehicle flipped over and the driver, 51-year-old Maria Cavazos was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. She was released Wednesday afternoon.
