West Loop construction zone changes on Monday

James Clark - email

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Starting Monday, West Loop 289 construction will look different for drivers on the 19th Street overpass.  Southbound traffic will be narrowed to one lane and shifted to the newly constructed northbound 19th Street overpass.  The switch will allow construction crews to demolish the existing southbound 19th Street bridge, which will then be rebuilt.

TxDOT will also close the southbound Loop 289 on-ramp, just south of Frankford Avenue, for no more than four weeks.
