Jury selection underway for Lubbock man accused of murder

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Jury selection is underway in the murder trial of 25-year-old Corey Conner. He is accused of shooting 23-year-old Bobby Jones outside the Fiesta Ballroom at 4th and MLK last December.

Authorities arrested Conner in Albuquerque in January after looking for him for more than an month. He has been behind bars since then on a $500,000 bond.

A Lubbock grand jury indicted Conner for the murder. KCBD NewsChannel 11 will follow this trial this week and will bring you the latest on www.kcbd.com and on the News.
