Soldier Returns From Iraq

What better way than to celebrate the 4th of July weekend than be reunited with a loved one. It was an emotional day for Deborah and Daniel Garza who welcomed home their son from the war in Iraq. 22 year-old Kevin Garza fought with the Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. After six months overseas, both he and his family are thankful he's home safe.

"He looks really good and he did really well. Very, very happy, very proud," said Kevin's mom Deborah Garza.

"We're Kevin's grandparents, and we're very grateful that he's back safe," said Kevin's grandmother Mary Duran.

"I am so proud of my grandson. He went out there and fought for our country and our liberty," said Kevin's grandfather Jesse Duran.

Kevin said he was just happy to be home, "I'm happy to be back. It just hasn't sunk in yet that I'm back."

Kevin will be home for a short while before returning to duty.
