Posted: Updated:

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Lubbock Fire Marshal's Office is investigating a blaze that broke out Sunday at a vacant rent house at 512 53rd.

It started just after 6 p.m. When firefighters arrived on the scene, flames were shooting from the roof and the front of the house was fully engulfed.

Investigators say the fire is suspicious and are looking into whether it was intentionally set or if someone may have started the fire to keep warm.
