LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock County grand jury says there is enough evidence to send a Lubbock woman to trial for the death of a Lubbock County Detention Officer.
Jury members indicted Kellie Lewis, 40, on two charges Tuesday afternoon; murder and aggravated assault. She is charged in last month's crash along the Interstate that killed 46-year-old Tommy Lamkin.
Authorities report Lewis' blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit at the time of the crash. Toxicology reports also found marijuana in her system.
