Rene Valencia, Source: Lubbock Sheriff's OfficeLUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock County grand jury has indicted Rene Valencia, 19, for murder.
He is charged in an October shooting that killed 22-year-old Zacary Matta. Witnesses say Matta got into a fight with Valencia inside the Daiquiri Lounge on Buddy Holly Avenue. At least five other people were injured in the shooting.
Jury members also indicted Valencia on two counts of aggravated assault.
