Arrest warrant issued for motorcyclist in Sunday accident

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - An arrest warrant has been issued for the motorcyclist accused of injuring another while driving intoxicated.

Lubbock Police filed charges Tuesday for 40-year-old Kevin Crispin for intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury. Police say Crispin caused an accident Sunday evening at 43rd and Chicago.

They say around 5:30 that evening, a couple on a motorcycle slowed down to make a turn. That is when Crispin, on another motorcycle, crashed into them.

Gary Artz, 53, had minor injuries while his wife, Owen Artz, 53, remains in critical condition. The bond for these charges is set at $12,000.
