Lawrence to Head Market Lubbock Inc.

Market Lubbock Inc. is expected to announce a new chief executive officer on Thursday, but sources tell NewsChannel 11 that Gary Lawrence will take the helm of the economic development firm.

Lawrence retired as president of Wells Fargo Bank of Lubbock last month and was instrumental in establishing Market Lubbock Inc. in 1995.

The decision will become official at a 10 a.m. news conference on Thursday morning.
