PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) - A Plainview man rode his bike nearly 600 miles for a worthy cause earlier this month.  According to the Plainview Daily Herald, Aaron Byrd rode 569 miles in six days. That's the distance from the Cotton Patch Cafe in Plainview to the Cotton Patch Cafe in Nacogdoches.  The Daily Herald says Byrd raised $1,000 which will purchase 1,800 medallions to identify the graves of veterans at two Plainview cemeteries.
