LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - The Texas Tech student charged in a deadly crash last month now stands indicted on three charges.
Jeena Roberts, 21, faces charges of intoxication manslaughter, intoxication assault, and aggravated assault for the October 22nd crash that killed Linda Smaltz, 54, and seriously injured Karin Wolfe.
Toxicology reports show Roberts' blood alcohol content was three time the legal limit at the time of the crash.
Roberts told police she was on a field trip with her engineering class and that her professor allowed students to bring alcohol on the bus.
Roberts remains free on bond.
