Lubbock teen charged in deadly shooting, indicted for assault - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A Lubbock Grand Jury indicts a teen for assaulting a public servant while being held on charges that stem from a deadly shooting that happened in May.

Clarence King, 17, is charged in the May shooting death of Marqus Lewis. Earlier this month, authorities say he assaulted a guard at the juvenile detention center.

Shortly after the assault, King was moved to the Lubbock County Detention Center where he remains jailed.
