Source: Brownfield NewsBROWNFIELD, TX (KCBD) - Authorities continue to investigate a deadly crash in Brownfield. Police say Marcelino Perez, 27, was driving a 2007 Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed when he slammed into a traffic light pole early Sunday morning.
The force wrapped the vehicle around the pole, killing Perez and his passenger Marc Antonio Tijerina, 25, on impact.
Funeral services for Perez are scheduled for 10am, Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church in Brownfield. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery.
Services for Tijerina have not yet been announced.
