LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two men from Shallowater are now at University Medical Center after their trucks collided Tuesday morning.

The accident happened at Highway 84 and F.M. 1294, just west of Shallowater around 7:30 a.m.

Tye Edwards, 20, was headed north on F.M. 1294 when police say he ran a stop sign and collided with 48-year-old Kenneth Cooper. The impact forced Cooper's truck to roll on its side. Cooper was transported by AeroCare and Edwards was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Edwards is in serious condition, while Cooper is listed in satisfactory condition.
