LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A flood at the U Loft apartments damaged several units Tuesday evening. Fire crews were called in to assist. They say one of the residents was moving a mattress down the hallway and busted off a sprinkler head. It caused water to pour into the south side of the building.
"I opened the door, there's a dog running around crazy, a guy screaming, and there's water flooding the hallway," Deyjon Scott said.
"It's ankle deep in water, all my electronics. I haven't assessed it yet, but it's probably blown," William Buckley said.
We're told water damaged units on at least three floors.
