Jury convicts DeLay in money laundering trial

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - A Texas jury has convicted former U.S. House Majority Leader Tom DeLay in a money laundering trial. The former Houston-area congressman denied claims by prosecutors that he helped illegally funnel $190,000 in corporate campaign donations to Texas legislative races in 2002. Jurors began deliberating Monday.
