LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) – Students at Springlake Earth High School in Northern Lamb County came back from Thanksgiving break to find their school was the target of a burglary.  Sheriff Gary Maddox says classes are back to normal.  Initially, students were sent to the gymnasium and cafeteria to give officers a chance to go over the crime scene.

Maddox says 20 or more laptop computers were stolen and he says there was some damage inside the building from the burglar's effort to get inside classrooms.

As of late Monday morning officers were following leads and no suspects had yet been charged.
