LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) - Jury members on Tuesday decided there was enough evidence to send 22 year-old Joshua Valdez to trial for murder for the death of his father.
Joshua Valdez, told authorities that on October 10, 2010 he and his father, 48 year-old Ricky Valdez, had gotten into a fight where he said he left his father passed out under the drive way. Another man, 21 year-old Adrian Aleman was indicted Tuesday, for tampering with evidence.
Aleman surrendered to Lynn County Authorities three days after Valdez was found dead in the car-port of his South Lubbock home. Police say that Aleman helped Valdez wash away blood from the crime scene.
