LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Six people were arrested after a fight broke out inside the La Kumbia night club and continued in the parking lot.
Officers Karen Findley and Jason Nuss were working an unrelated call nearby and responded to break up the fight around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
According to the police report, Alexandra Lovington, 20, was charged with aggravated assault against a peace officer after she hit Officer Findley in the head with a chair. Officer Findley suffered minor injuries.
Others arrested include: Amber Lovington, Christopher Lovington, 24, Gregory Paez, Juan Ramirez, 23, and 23-year-old Timothy Lovington. Their charges include assault, interference with public duties, retaliation and/or disorderly conduct and several had outstanding warrants for their arrest.
