Randy Neugebauer appointed as chairman of House Financial Services subcommittee

WASHINGTON, DC (PRESS RELEASE) – Congressman Randy Neugebauer (R-TX) released the following statement Thursday regarding his appointment as Chairman of the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations:

"I am both honored and humbled by Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus' confidence and that of the Republican House Leadership in my abilities to lead the Subcommittee's important work.

"As Chairman of the Subcommittee, I will work closely with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to bring transparency and accountability to the Subcommittee's activities and create fair policies that get the American people back to work and encourage small businesses to expand and hire."

"Randy Neugebauer's broad private sector business experience, combined with his valuable work on the Committee, will strengthen the important activities of the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee. Randy and his team will shine a bright light on the Administration's policies and government entities that impact our economy," said incoming House Financial Services Committee Chairman Spencer Bachus (R-AL).
