LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Dallas police are willing to pay Lubbock police $5,000 for help in finding and investigating Internet crimes against children. Ultimately Dallas police are getting the money from a federal grant.
The money from Dallas PD will go toward training, equipment, and operations. If the Lubbock City Council approves then "the Lubbock Police Department will work collaboratively with the Dallas Police Department" as part of an "Internet Crimes Task Force."
