Lubbock teens could face charges after running from scene of an accident

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Two teenagers who ran from the scene of a roll over in south Lubbock County Wednesday night could face charges.

The Department of Public Safety says around 8:45 p.m., 18-year-old Jonathan Infante crashed through a fence near 140th Street and Avenue L. He then drove across the property, through another fence, and fled the area.

The car was found shortly after, near Woodrow Road and University after it had rolled.

Infante was found about 30 minutes later. His passenger wasn't located, but has been identified as 18-year-old Zack Cardenas.

Investigators say charges are still pending as the investigation continues.
