Food for Thought 12/16/10

LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) - We begin this tasty trip at Mamarita's Border Café at 6602 Slide. This popular Mexican food stop serves up a savory plate of perfection. Not only is their food "so good", so was their latest health inspection. KFC at 6411 19th fries up a perfect score.

You don't have to leave the comfort of your couch for a slice of this next top performer. Pizza Hut at 4926 50th delivers a flawless inspection.

Funny name, serious on clean. Schlotzsky's at 8101 Indiana wraps up their inspection with zero critical violations. If you don't want to slave over the hot stove this Christmas let Glazed Honey Ham Co. at 3424 82nd do the work for you. They cooked up a perfect score.

And we're seeing double as we wrap up this week's list of perfection. Health inspectors found no critical violations at several departments inside the United Market Street at 4205 98th and the United Supermarket at 8010 Frankford Ave.
