Lubbock Moonlight Musicals presents White Christmas dinner-theatre

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - Lubbock Moonlight Musicals will open a its first dinner-theatre presentation Thursday night and General Director, Gerald Dolter, is excited putting on, Irving Berlin's beloved musical, White Christmas.

White Christmas is based on the 1954 Paramount Pictures film of the same name. The music and lyrics were written by Irving Berlin and libretto by David Ives and Paul Blake. The cast includes more than 25 local actors and dancers from the Lubbock area.

This production marks a wintertime addition to the offerings of Lubbock Moonlight Musicals. The company recently celebrated its 5th anniversary of performances in Lubbock's outdoor Wells Fargo Amphitheater.

Performances are set for December 23, 29, 30 and 31, in the Lubbock Civic Center Banquet Hall. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the show will follow at 7:30 p.m.

Reservations are required for each performance. Ticket prices begin at $60 for the front row, $50 for the second row and $35 for all others. There are no senior or student discounts.
