Police search for suspect after bullet goes through house

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - A bullet flies through the window of a northeast Lubbock home Christmas Eve, and police are searching for a suspect.

Around 11:30 Friday morning, police responded to a home in the 2300 block of Colgate just off Clovis Road.

Police say no one was hurt when one bullet went through the front window.

Bubba Shobert says he was working across the street when he heard the shot.

"I was sitting in my office and just heard what sounded like a gunshot. I don't know if it was a gunshot or an electrical transformer or something blew up," said Shobert.

There is no word on a suspect, but Lubbock Police are still investigating.

If you know anything about this, call Crimeline at 741-1000.
